    Chaz Well has always been making art as a child.  It was very rare not to see him with a pen or marker in hand.  It wasn't until high school when a teacher noticed his talents and pushed him into an accelerated graphic design course that he created his first national award winning portfolio granting him a scholarship to the University of Hartford, Hartford Art School.  While in college, Well fell in love with painting and sculpture in which he ended up doubling majoring and graduating on the Dean's List in 2015.  From 2016 to 2019, Well noticed that cellphones were constantly changing and updating which lead him to creating his Cell Phone series. The Cell Phone series consisted of 36 paintings based on him hand designing the apps we use daily to document a time period of the iPhone. These paintings were shown all around the northeast in places like Super Chief Gallery, NY; 9 Dot Gallery in Worchester, MA; and included private showings in Chicago.  During 2020, Chaz Well didn't have much time to paint as he was a traveling EMT helping out the country during the pandemic. He was awarded a High Honor Award where he was recognized for his efforts and time away working for FEMA. In 2021, Chaz Well was in an experimental period of painting where he found painting 8-bit objects, mixed in with representational images, gave him joy and purpose.  In 2022, Well, moved to Las Vegas to start a new life.  With nothing but a suitcase and a cat, Well landed himself a sales position at Park West Gallery where he quickly climbed the ladder by becoming one the top sales people and art handlers.  At Park West Gallery, he really indulged himself by delving into art history imagery and art making techniques like printmaking and thick impasto painting.  From there, he started really honing his craft by painting pixeled images creating a style he calls "Cyberism". Cyberism, is the act of mixing 8 bit or low poly images into reality creating a new age retro feel.  He soon left Park West Gallery to go work for Eden Gallery where he is now the Lead Art Handler and Art Restorator for the Las Vegas location being sent around the country to VIP celebrity clients to deliver and install their artworks.
